A CIBIL Score is a 3-digit number ranging from 300 to 900 calculated by TransUnion CIBIL based on your credit history, loan repayment record, credit card usage, and outstanding debts.
Score Brackets
- 750 – 900: Excellent (Lowest interest rates, instant loan approvals).
- 700 – 749: Good (Higher probability of loan approval).
- 600 – 699: Average (Higher interest rates, strict lender scrutiny).
- 300 – 599: Poor (High risk of credit rejection).
How to Improve Your Score
- Pay credit card bills and loan EMIs on time.
- Maintain a Credit Utilization Ratio (CUR) below 30%.
